Columbia Pike Artist Studios

Columbia Pike Artist Studios (CPAS) in Arlington, Virginia, is a visual art cooperative providing 21 working studio spaces for artists in the region. Founded in 1989 when a passionate group of artists raised funds to convert a large retail space into studios, CPAS accommodates painters, sculptors, printmakers, collage artists, mixed media artists, illustrators, and photographers. Work by many of the 24 member artists can be seen and purchased in galleries and other venues in the DC metropolitan area, nationally and internationally.

CPAS has benefited from its relationships with neighboring businesses since its inception, and members continually strive to engage with the local community. The studios and CPAS gallery are open to the public during special events, including the bi-annual open studio weekends, and by appointment with individual artists.
